Is That... a Missing Unicorn?
Unfortunately, there are posters of missing animals at the park every now and then. However, there are times when it's pretty easy to conclude that an animal can't be missing if it doesn't exist in the first place. Here is a fairytale creature we are all familiar with, the unicorn.
As much as some people would love to believe in this, it seems highly improbably that someone actually owned and lost a mythical beast. At least a missing unicorn won't be hard to spot, given it is quite a large animal and a unique one at that. So if you ever see one, let these people know.
A Quirky Dress Sense is Allowed
People can wear what they want to and express themselves through their clothes. That is probably why when this grandfather and his grandson went to the Grand Canyon, they didn't overthink about his outfit.
However, when the picture hit the internet, it generated more buzz than they expected. We aren't sure if the crop top was a little too short or if the shorts were the catch. Whatever it was, people had quite a laugh at this look. There is also the fact that the weather must have been quite hot, so we don't know how he managed that situation. He does look pretty comfortable, though.
I'd Rather Hug a Tree
Relationships ending can be challenging, especially when you would just like to forget about that person. It is never easy to split from someone, and a nasty breakup can sour things. This is why most people try to erase memories of their former partners completely.
This lady was willing to go to the extreme, to the extent that she decided to replace her ex with a tree. We wonder what he must have done to get himself subjected to such petty treatment. This park photograph was truly interesting and proof of the extent to which some exes can go.
This Optical Illusion Will Have You Confused
Three friends looked quite comfortable at the park, as they should be, right? However, there was something more going on. A park is a simple place, what you see is what you get. But, when an invisible bench is placed in the park, things can get a little confusing.
It probably took passersby a few moments to realize what was seemingly missing. Who knows, maybe the actual bench was photoshopped to make it look invisible, we can't really say. If the bench is really invisible, then it must rarely be used because not many people will know that they can sit on it, if that's actually possible!
Hey! It's a Live-Sized Bird in The Park
One never knows what they may encounter at the park, you simply go with an open mind. On this day, a regular person made quite the discovery while bird-watching. It was an actual life-size bird sitting across the park. What could be this surprising find?
The bird looked like a character from a popular children's show, "Sesame Street." The bird wasn't up for a meet-and-greet at that moment so he had to be left alone. Anyways, we are certain this will be one of those rare moments at the park for whoever caught this on camera.
An Animal in Roller-Skates
We bet some of you have probably never seen an animal in roller skates. Well, neither have we but there is a first time for everything. There are so many questions, starting from how the person managed to get all four limbs in the roller skate to begin with?
People come across all kinds of strange things daily at the park, and this undoubtedly is one of them. While we're not entirely sure if it is regular to have sheep in roller skates, the guy himself looks quite unbothered and used to the situation.
Yep, That's a Giant Peg in the Park
We really don't know how people get themselves in certain situations sometimes. We only know that there are certain encounters at the park that can only be explained by the people involved, like this man, for instance.
He found a huge peg and somehow got his leg caught in it. He's the only one that can explain how that happened. His dog on the other hand decided to remain an onlooker, watching him wail from the pain. Hopefully, he got help quickly otherwise, his leg may have suffered quite a bit.
The Grand Canine
Now, we often see pictures of people in nature that are quite interesting. For starters, we aren't exactly sure if this man was at the Grand Canyon or some other cavernous reserve. Wherever he was, it certainly looked like somewhere outdoors so it can qualify as a park.
He wasn't alone as he was accompanied by his brave poodle. The word "brave" is used because this dog probably has no fear of heights or embraced the moment to dispel all his fears. They looked excited in the photo so they probably had a nice time.
This Park Is Meant for the Cool Dudes
Parks cater to people of different backgrounds and everyone is most welcome. But, there are some parks that can be mistaken to cater to only some select group of people, like this one. The name of the park may give the wrong impression to many.
For this guy, it was a destined encounter. He was all too happy to put his arm on the sign and smile for the camera. One can only help but wonder who named this park? We hope it doesn't stir up any controversies or bias for other park-goers occasionally.
The Sign Can’t Tell Me Where To Be
Signs at parks are often to inform us of what is and isn't permitted there. Most times they are pretty easy to understand when presented properly. With this sign, however, it could be understood in a number of ways.
For this cat, the sign simply means no dogs allowed. And if by some stroke of coincidence it meant no cats allowed, well then that's a different thing. As far as this kitty is concerned, a sign can not tell him where to be in the park. No areas are off-limits here.
Is This the Actual Trailer Park?
When we say trailer park, we are not talking about the one with huge actual trailers. If you have ever wanted a park setting at certain places or just want to enjoy the outdoors by yourself, then maybe this is what you need.
This miniature trailer park can be taken almost everywhere with you. All you have to do is hook it up to your vehicle and you are set to have a nice outdoor experience. A note of warning though, you may not be able to take the pets with you.
Park Visitors From Out of Space
You can have all kinds of encounters with a simple visit to the park. As it turns out, there are lots of unlikely visitors that like to play and enjoy on this earth of ours. On one such day, a photographer spotted some visitors at the swings. Now, we can't really call them friends but they sure were having a good time playing on the swings together.
The Alien and Predator duo aren't known to be the best of friends, at least if we're to go by the movie. However, a scheduled playdate at the park seemed to help them let go of their differences.
To Use the Tree You Have To Wait Your Turn
Forming a queue and waiting your turn helps when there are a lot of people who need to get something. It ensures everyone performs their actions in an orderly fashion. It is even considered a cultural norm in most places.
Apparently, dogs wait their turn too in some places. To take a quick pee, everyone waits their turn and in a neat straight line. It's quite surprising to see how well-behaved and patient they are at this park. We're glad to see that potty training has been going well for these dogs and their owners.
To Fly or Not To Fly
People find signs to be very reliable for the basic information they are meant to pass across. However, when a sign isn't straightforward it can be an issue. This sign at the park is one that has probably left many people perplexed.
One can't be sure what the message is. Can people fly a kite or not is the main question here? Honestly, what if the person who took the photo really wanted to fly a kite? Anyways, we hope the people who put the sign up will reconsider making it a bit more straightforward.
Just a Walk in the Park
We really had a good laugh looking at this picture. You can only wonder who the people in charge of this park are? Lots of dog owners like taking their pets to the park to have a good walk, stretch out those limbs and do any other business.
But, when a sign barely gives you any room for all that it can be disappointing. One sign gives the all-clear and not even a few steps away, there's another sign saying it's a no-go. We wonder if the park was truly designed for dogs in mind.
Help Me, Mom!
You'd think Samantha Bursch's life is hanging on the edge of the cliff. One wrong move and she'd lose her life. So it would seem based on the photo. Well, this is a perfect example of "you can never guess the true story behind a picture." As she was totally in control and was standing on a ledge when the photo was taken.
Bursch thought it had been great to scare her mom by sending her a prank photo of her in a life-threatening situation. Probably as some type of queasy joke. We'd never understand her reason behind that.
I've Got a Big Friend!
It is a known fact that snapshots can be deceptive but this snapshot took that statement to a different level. One would think the little man and his big friend are having the time of their life at the Grand Canyon based on the snapshot. This is not the case as technology could possibly make things look like we want them to. Just like this picture.
We presume these two friends might have taken the picture just at the right angle to make it look like one of them was a giant. Whatever the case may be, the snapshot came out perfectly well.
Woman of My Dreams
How about having the woman of your dreams stand behind you and having absolutely no idea that she is there. Not many people would want that. Well, that seemed to be the case in this picture.
The man in the picture might have been yearning to see the woman of his dreams so much that he took a nap at the park. Unknown to him, the woman was no longer in his dreams but right behind him. We probably wouldn't know if he got to see her but we hope he did.
We Must Sit on One of These Benches
We bet there's no one left out in the United States because there are some parks in the United States that are constructed for people of tall and big proportions.
If you ever come across such a park, wouldn't you want to try out everything in the park?. It's the same for these ladies who turned up at Humungous Mammoth Park. Though it took them a long time to get on one of the benches, you can see they are happy they did, judging by how relaxed they look in this photo.
What in the World Is This?
We are guessing the first thought that'd cross your mind when you see this image will be "what in the world is this?" A justifiable thought, because one would wonder how to sit on a bench like this.
The good thing is no matter how weird-looking this bench is, it is quite useful at the park. Imagine a quick nap at the park and not having to bother about falling off the bench, what a worry-free nap that would be. Though we think it's a you-had-one-job-but-the-design-failed kind of scenario. It turned out to be a good mistake.
This Is Quite Unbelievable and Heart Melting
Ducks are among the few bird species that can soar the skies, roam the lands, and even comfortably play in the water. After all, one of their favorite foods is fish. So, how then do we explain why this fish is apparently helping a duck paddle on the water surface. The bird could have easily done so on its own.
The truth is a lot different from what we had in our heads. It turns out the duck was injured and couldn't have safely made it across the pond, and this fish was selfless enough to help it get through unscathed.
What Are the Chances?
Certainly, we get the point made on this sign. However, what is more intriguing, is the photograph depicted in the sign. It begs us to wonder if, for some reason, it is possible that what we're seeing in the photograph may have happened.
Maybe it is a photoshopped image, a really good crafted graphics design, or even a good painting. But, could it be possible, even in the slightest way, that a dog stood on just its hind legs, tools in hand, and packed up its stool? What are the chances?
Grate Spelling
This would be a funny example and would come in handy in the context of explaining "the power of words." The whole situation was created due to a mistake in the spelling of a word. Now, the lady in question requested a picture edit to look more beautiful so she could share it with the guy both girls happen to fancy; what could go wrong?
In her text, she used the word "grate" instead of "great," which turned her request around and not for the better. One can't help but laugh at how the graphic designer decided to take her instructions quite literally.
A Knight on Duty
Might be a wrong wardrobe choice or maybe a wardrobe gone-wrong day, but, this brings back memories of Arthur and the knights of the round table in Camelot. Not to mention the concept of a knight in shining armor. Our guy must have been thinking the same thing when he set out to hit the armory for his outfit.
With his helmet, chain mail, boots, and supposed stallion, totally not excluding his mug; he seems to be having the time of his life in the park. For him, this must have been one of those memorable days.
Following Instructions to the Letter
You know how there are stamps, signs, and instructions placed at the park, sidewalks, and even the road. These signs are placed to properly instruct the public as well as guide them. Well, this situation turned out quite differently than we must have been expecting.
Just as it's common knowledge to pick after your dog, you would think the sign was clear enough. This man probably took the interpretation of the signpost to another level. He took the 'IT' to mean his dog, thereby picking up his dog instead of picking after his dog.
This Dog Just Wants In on This Picture
If you needed any proof that timing is important, well we have one for you. We wouldn't have this hilarious picture to share if it wasn't. For this man and woman, it was an opportunity to take a lovely picture but for this dog, it was an opportunity to share that picture with them.
It might be the greatest photobomb ever. It's clear how much this dog wanted to take a picture with this couple. You can't help but wonder if it's because of a love for modeling or this couple.
This Seesaw Playtime Did Not Go As Planned
Everyone has an inner child and really there are just some days when all you want to do is bring that inner child out. However, this trial went so horribly wrong we can't help but find it hilarious. Park see-saws are usually for children or for two people of similar weight but these two friends decided to give it a try.
They jumped on the seesaw and were having a blast. Until one of them catapulted the other into the air. They were stuck in the tree for hours. Now that must have been a hilarious sight to see!
Cats Just Wanna Swing
Pets just wanna have fun and that's what makes this photograph so special. After this pet owner placed his cat on a swing for the first time, all he could hope for was the cat to have the time of her life. However, he got more than he bargained for.
During the first few pushes, the cat was understandably apprehensive. That feeling only lasted for a minute because soon after, she was holding on so tight to the swing and was having the time of her life. He had a hard time removing her from the swing!
After Sitting on This Pyramid, There’s No Going Back
We imagine that after a while, sitting on benches got boring for these individuals. That's why one or all of them thought that the best thing was to stack all the benches in the park into a pyramid.
Now that definitely sounds like the safest thing to ever do. What's life without trying to imitate the pyramids in Egypt? Is there even any meaning if you can't sit on a bench pyramid at least once in your entire life? Well, we will not be advising you to do this anytime soon.
My Little Pony
Who doesn't enjoy a trip to the park? These places allow us to connect with nature on a deeper level. It seems that for this man, visiting the park is a chance to connect with his pony. However, we wonder how odd it must be for visitors of the park to see a full-grown man move everywhere on roller skates, walking his pony to the park.
This strange duo was actually famous at a point. They could be seen regularly on their daily walk in Central Park, where they received several amused stares but carried out their business as unbothered as they could possibly be.
Who Said Wedding Dresses Were for Brides Alone?
Appearances may be deceiving and we have proof. Take a look at this picture. What do you see? A young lady posing in front of a fountain on a hot summer day with members of the public walking by. Easy right? Now look a little closer, there's something you probably missed on the first look.
Look to the side, you can see a topless man going by. The picture is so perfectly timed that the water from the fountain makes him look like he's wearing a wedding gown! Now that's something you don't see every day.
Straight Out of the Elephant
Most elephant slides have their slides where the trunk of the animal is. However, there is an actual slide in one corner of the world that makes it appear as if users are sliding out of the elephant's behind! Now that's a hilarious sight it makes you wonder what the city council was thinking when they erected this slide and proceeded to place a dozen of them throughout the city.
Many families were outraged by this. They believed it was unacceptable and refused to take their children to the park for a while. However, as time passed, both the children and the parents began to see the humor in it.
Meet The 'Unicordion'
Parks are public places so it's not uncommon to expect to meet a wide variety of people and animals on a visit to your neighborhood park. However, we draw the line at meeting a merger of both animal and human so this might shock you.
He spots a unicorn's head and has established himself as one of New York's most skilled accordion players. As if that's not enough, he also wears women's footwear. You may call him the 'Unicordion.' It's certainly a fitting name for such a strange but hilarious sight.
These Vikings Want In on This Picnic Date
You have probably thought of taking your loved one to the park on a picnic date before. Truth be told, it's a great idea. It's probably what this couple was thinking when they decided to head to the park for a romantic date with their dog. However, they had a surprise waiting for them.
While this couple was enjoying themselves, a group of Vikings arrived to strike them. We can't help but wonder why. Was it the sight of two people enjoying themselves that triggered these Vikings, or was it just a plain thirst for violence?
Ever Seen a Sad Clown?
If you look up 'clown' in the dictionary, you will find them defined as entertainers, so it's quite a twist with this clown that didn't seem the least bit entertained. While everyone on the rollercoaster appears to be having a good time, he seems pretty sad.
We imagine the clown probably worked at the theme park and was hired for the sole purpose of putting a smile on people's faces. We wonder why he can't put one on his face. His exaggerated makeup just makes this sight even more hilarious to behold. We do hope he feels better now though.
Catch Me if You Can
The Grand Canyon is one of the most extensively studied places globally, offering a dazzling array of geologic features and depth. Now, it's also home to this photograph. We really hope that this photo was staged and this man wasn't about to fall deep; that would certainly be disastrous!
It's already terrifying viewing the canyon from the rim. Now imagine falling from there. Clearly, this person came to the Grand Canyon to put on a show. Things could have gone tragically wrong for him if he hadn't had a firm foothold.
This Piano Bench Is Nothing Like You Imagined It Would Be
When you hear the words' piano bench' you are certainly thinking of the bench pianists sit on while playing. However, this design took this definition to a whole new level and this picture right here is proof.
They basically placed a piano on a park bench for people to sit on. While it's a really nice design, it certainly looks uncomfortable to sit on and what's a bench if it cannot be sat on? We do hope that individuals who take a seat know how to play. Maybe the design would make sense then, after all.
Is It Even a Bench Without Grass?
If you thought you'd seen it all, there's one more thing you haven't; this grass-like bench! We couldn't figure out if it was a new kind of plant, a naturally formed bench, or some strange hybrid. Since when did grass-covered benches appear out of nowhere in the center of public parks?
Well, at least one person seems to be enjoying it quite well so it may be quite comfortable. However, we've watched too many horror movies to be comfortable sleeping on this bench. What if this bench comes to life and tries to do something funny!
What Language Is That?
If you thought dogs could not read, well that's something you and the people who made this sign do not have in common. They obviously take their job of conveying warnings to people very seriously. They even went as far as creating their own language!
They probably assumed it was necessary to inform the dogs as well as their owners. At least if the owners refuse to abide by the rules, their pets might choose to do so after reading the sign. We don't know how effective this sign has been, however.
Be Warned at Your Own Risk
At a glance, there isn't anything wrong with this photo. It's just a standard warning sign but what's special about it is the location and the warning on the sign itself. It's far from believable. We imagine that poison ivy and rattlesnakes don't just stay on grasses in residential areas so why is this sign saying that they do?
It's obvious this is just a ploy. Someone definitely wants to keep uninvited guests away. What better way to accomplish this than by erecting this sign? It must work though because, despite the fact that we don't believe this sign, you won't find us threading on this grass.
So Small a Sign
It's not uncommon to see a sign in a park. That's why at first glance, this picture may seem quite normal. However, a closer look might let you in on why this picture is on our list of hilarious park moments.
There's nothing really wrong with the sign's statement rather, it's the positioning and size that has us laughing. It's so tiny you can assume it was not made with humans in mind. Any human reading this would pretty much have to stoop very low or lie to read it.
According to This Sign, What’s Good for Pets May Be Good for Children Too
We have seen some pretty weird and hilarious signs in parks, but this one takes the cake. Not only does it advise that pets be kept on a leash, but it also advises that some children are deserving of that treatment too.
While it may be true that some children act unruly and somewhat stubborn sometimes, they are definitely undeserving of a leash. We imagine that whoever came up with this sign must have had his or her own fair share of terrible experiences with children, or was probably just joking. We truly hope it was the latter.
Naughty Squirrel
While it's advisable to get comfortable at one's place of work, it's always better to exercise some form of restraint to showcase some form of professionalism. With that said, it's obvious these squirrel mascots did not get the memo.
Since mascots are used to entertain children, they should abide by an age-appropriate code of conduct. We understand how cute this female squirrel looks, but they should know better than to be ogling her when there are children present! You can almost feel that someone is about to lose their job in this picture.
Resist the Urge To Pet That Deer!
It's not uncommon to see deers in Canada; in fact, this picture was taken in Alberta. It's obvious deers there are free to roam in nearby parks. However, that does not imply that you are free to approach and pet them.
In fact, it's the polar opposite. From this sign, it's easy to tell the fate of any human who tries to pet these wild animals. Male deers can easily match humans for height and are armed with deadly antlers they can use to impale their foes. So the next time you're in Alberta and see one, remember to resist the urge to pet these beautiful but dangerous creatures.
The Ooh Aah Point
This picture is not just hilarious, it's cute too. What better way to express the beauty of the particular spot the sign was placed and the reaction you are sure to make after seeing it? It is such a realistic sign too. This is the exact spot where people gather to admire the scenery.
Typically, staring at the beauty incurs vocal gestures such as "ooh" and "aah" in varied degrees. It's obvious that whoever came up with this idea has a knack for the hilarious. There's absolutely no way you'd see this sign and not laugh. We dare you!
