Jacqueline Bisset – 76, Weybridge

Jacqueline Bisset had her big break in the acting scene during the late '60s, thanks to her performances in movies like The Sweet Ride and The Detective. She received award nominations for her work on Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe? and Under the Volcano, but ultimately didn't win.

Her losses didn't make her lose hope, and she finally took home a Golden Globe in 2013 for her role in Dancing on the Edge. Bisset continuously grows her net worth today, and her upcoming films are Birds of Paradise and Madeleine Collins.

Petula Clark – 88, Ewell

Petula Clark was a BBC Radio child entertainer during World War II, and then she later became an established singer in the UK. Her song titled The Little Shoemaker made her a star in the '50s, and she continued to thrive with hits like Sailor and Prends mon Coeur.

By the mid-'60s, she rose to fame in the United States with hits like I Couldn't Live Without Your Love and I Know a Place. Her over 68 million record sales turned her into a woman of great affluence. Clark's most recent album release was 2018's Vu d'ici.

Pauline Collins – 80, Exmouth

During the '70s, people knew Pauline Collins for being one of the stars of the series called Upstairs, Downstairs. Her character, Sarah Moffat, was such a hit that she later starred in a spin-off show called Thomas & Sarah. She also had a fruitful career in theatre, winning awards for her performance in Shirley Valentine.

When she got cast to star in the play's film version, her performance won the Best Actress award at the BAFTA Awards. Collins doesn't make as much money as she used to, but she hasn't cut ties with show business yet. Her IMDb page says she will star in Byrd and the Bees.

Wendy Craig – 87, Sacriston

Wendy Craig always knew that she was serious about acting, so she trained in London's Central School of Speech and Drama. She appeared on the West End during the beginning of her career, but she eventually started gracing people's TV screens.

Her most notable performances were in ...And Mother Makes Three and Not in Front of the Children. Craig had legendary services to charity and drama, which led to her becoming a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2020. She hasn't done any acting work since appearing in Transference in 2019.

Helen Mirren – 76, London

Helen Mirren charmed everyone with her gorgeous face ever since she emerged in the limelight in the '60s. She proved to everybody that she was more than just a pretty face by giving superb performances in Prime Suspect, Cal, and Elizabeth I.

She already experienced many effects of aging over the years, but you can notice how well she took care of her figure. Mirren rocks her all-white hair color today, and you will see her enter the DC Extended Universe through her role in the upcoming Shazam! Fury of the Gods film.

Joanna Lumley - 75, British India

Joanna Lumley, best known for starring in Absolutely Fabulous, calls Srinagar, Kashmir, British India, her birthplace. However, she's known all over the globe as a British actress. The Coronation Street star initially worked as a model before she turned towards acting. And now, she's also celebrated as a human rights activist who supports animal welfare organizations too.

At 75, Lumley is still pretty active. She portrayed Aunt Emma in the 2013 highly-acclaimed film The Wolf of Wall Street and has recently starred in Finding Alice, a 2021 comedy-drama TV show. Lumley also participated in The Picture of Dorian Gray.

Julie Goodyear - 79,  Bury, Lancashire

Julie Goodyear has had an eventful life that includes several bad relationships. But she did have a great career, for which she is most notable for her role as Bet Lynch in the long-running British soap "Coronation Street." She even won a National Television Award in 1995 and received an MBE in 1996.

After leaving "Coronation Street" in 1996, she presented shows like "Live Time." She also signed an advertisement deal with "Shredded Wheat" and appeared in various celebrity shows, including "Come Dine With Me," "Celebrity Big Brother," and "Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes." She also worked in theater with a role in  "Calendar Girls" on the West end.

Leslie Phillips - 97, Tottenham

As a lifelong fan of Tottenham Hotspurs, Leslie Samuel knows a thing or two about ups and downs. He also knows a thing or two about performing as an actor. He is renowned for his catchphrases like "Ding Dong" and "Hello," using them to comedic effect in various films, and stage plays.

He is also known for British film series like Carry On and Doctor in the House. He also had roles in the radio comedy series The Navy Lark and starred in the film version as well. He also voiced the sorting hat in the Harry Potter films and was last featured in a 2020 documentary called VE Day 75 VE Day: Remembering Victory.

Rowan Atkinson – 66, Consett

When you see Rowan Atkinson, you'll immediately think of the time he gave life to the role of Mr. Bean. He starred in the Mr. Bean sitcom in the '90s, and then he returned for films like Mr. Bean's Holiday and Bean. His IMDb page says he will return as the character in a new series.

Anne Reid - 86, Newcastle upon Tyne

Anne Reid's got placed on the radar once she joined the cast of Coronation Street in the '60s. She had a decade-long run with the soap opera, but she later experienced more success with her role in Last Tango in Halifax.

Reid also made a name for herself on the big screen, winning a London Film Critics Circle Award for her performance in 2003's The Mother. She didn't suffer any severe health issues yet, so she is free to continue working for now. In 2021, she starred in SAS: Red Notice.

Julie Christie – 81, British India

Julia Christie was among the most prominent names to watch out for during the Swinging Sixties. Her ticket to fame was her outstanding performance in the 1963 film called Billy Liar. She then became an even bigger star after appearing in Darling and Doctor Zhivago.

Christie is now 81 years old, and it looks like she would rather spend her days resting at home than working. According to her IMDb page, her most recent on-screen role was in The Company You Keep in 2012. She did serve as the narrator of a movie called The Bookshop in 2017.

Julie Andrews – 85, Surrey

People knew Julia Andrews for her theatre work in the '50s, but most people today remember her iconic big-screen performances. Her most notable roles were in movies like The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, and The Princess Diaries.

She undoubtedly aged gracefully over the years, and she still looks as gorgeous as ever now that she's 85 years old. Andrews has been making money from doing off-screen work as a voice actress in recent years, and you will next hear her in the upcoming film titled Minions: The Rise of Gru movie.

Jane Asher – 75, Willesden

Jane Asher already gained fame when she was a child because of movies like The Quatermass Xperiment and Mandy. She continued acting as she got older, and some of her best performances were in Holby City, Crossroads, and Wish Me Luck.

Asher is still doing well at her current age of 75, and it looks like her career continues to generate a ton of earnings for her. She appeared in a short film in 2021 titled Fire Ants, and sources say she has parts in upcoming movies called Splinter and 3 of a Kind.

Judi Dench – 86, Heworth

Judi Dench is a widely established actress from the United Kingdom. She initially earned praise for her stage performances in Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet. She then became a famous film star after starring in Cabaret and Shakespeare in Love.

Dench remained in demand in Hollywood all these years, and it looks like nothing will slow her down in the coming years. She reportedly has an upcoming movie titled Belfast. She only had one marriage in the past, to Michael Williams, but he died in 2001 due to lung cancer.

 

Maggie Smith - 86, Ilford

Many of you probably recognize actress Maggie Smith for her roles in Downton Abbey or the Harry Potter films. She kickstarted her theatre acting career while still taking acting classes at the Oxford Playhouse, and then she eventually started pursuing mainstream work.

Her most significant achievements were her award-winning roles in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and California Suite. Smith returned for the Downton Abbey film in 2019, and she will star in its upcoming sequel in 2022. She also has another forthcoming movie called A Boy Called Christmas.

Vanessa Redgrave - 84, Blackheath

Actress Vanessa Redgrave rose to fame in the early '60s after giving a memorable performance in a Shakespearean comedy called As You Like It. She eventually made her way to Broadway and won awards for her roles in The Aspern Papers and Long Day's Journey into Night.

By 1966, people also saw her on the big screen, and she was well-known for Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment and Julia. Redgrave isn't focusing on retirement planning yet, and she reportedly has two upcoming films called The Medusa and The Outside Room.

Brenda Blethyn – 75, Ramsgate

People first discovered who Brena Blethyn was when she appeared in plays like Mysteries and Troilus and Cressida. She then established herself as a TV star in the '80s through her lead roles in The Labours of Erica and Chance in a Million.

Her most incredible milestones were winning awards for her performances in Secrets & Lies and Little Voice. Blethyn won't stop receiving paychecks anytime soon, for she's part of the cast of the series called Vera. Her IMDb page says she has a voice role in a new movie called Charlotte. 

Eileen Atkins – 87, Clapton

Eileen Atkins first appeared on Broadway in 1966, and her debut performance in The Killing of Sister George earned her a Tony Award nomination. Her other notable parts were in The Retreat from Moscow, Vivat! Vivat Regina!, and Indiscretions. She also got cast in mainstream acting gigs, starring in The House of Elliot and Upstairs, Downstairs.

She also ventured into working behind the camera as a screenwriter. Today, she still acts occasionally, and her most recent role was in Doc Martin. Atkins doesn't have any upcoming films or shows, but you will hear her voice in the forthcoming Getting Away with Murder(s) documentary.

Charlotte Rampling – 75, Sturmer

Another Swinging Sixties icon that makes it on this list is Charlotte Rampling. She initially worked as a model, but she later became more passionate about acting. Her first few notable roles were in Georgy Girl, The Night Porter, The Damned.

She ultimately earned nominations for her performances in Restless, London Spy, and 45 Years. Rampling will hopefully continue to act for as long as she can, and the next movie you will see her showcase her talent is Dune. She's also working on a foreign film titled Le Bal des Folles.

Gemma Jones – 78, Marylebone

Gemma Jones studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and she was reportedly a gold medal recipient during her time there. She started working as an actress in the '60s, but her first breakthrough role was in 1995's Sense and Sensibility.

She later landed notable parts in the Harry Poter and Bridget Jones movies. For her performance in the 2014 film Marvellous, she received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2015 BAFTAs. Jones is still as busy as ever, and her next movie, Benediction, will premiere in 2021.

Angela Lansbury - 95, London

Most actresses in their 90s would choose retirement over working, but it looks like Angela Lansbury wants to continue showcasing her talent for as long as she can. Among her most memorable roles were in The Picture of Dorian Gray and Murder, She Wrote.

She was married twice in her life: the first marriage fell apart after less than a year, while her second marriage ended in her husband's unfortunate death. Lansbury's IMDb page says she will appear in an upcoming movie called The Adventures of Buddy Thunder.

Claire Bloom – 90, Finchley

Claire Bloom was about 16 years old when she made her stage debut, and she had superb performances in Shakespeare plays like Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. Once she branched into movie roles, she got to work with iconic actors like Paul Newman, Anthony Hopkins, and Richard Burton.

Bloom is someone who can indeed give you divorce advice because she had a total of three marriages that didn't end well. Her most recent acting role was in a mini-series called Summer of Rockets in 2019. Sources say she's part of the upcoming Sophie's War film.

Joan Collins - 88, London

Joan Collins received her acting training from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art when she was a teenager, and then she eventually landed a 20th Century Fox contract in the mid-'50s. Her early performances that caught people's attention were in The Virgin Queen and Land of the Pharaohs.

In the '80s, she starred in the original Dynasty TV series as Alexis Colby, and her fantastic portrayal won her a Golden Globe Award. Collins is still as fabulous as ever at 88 years old, and her fashion sense is still on-point. She started starring in Glow & Darkness in 2021.

Stephanie Beacham – 74, Barnet

Stephanie Beacham began pursuing acting full-time in the late '60s, and the roles she had that brought her an impressive amount of fame were in shows like The Colbys, Dynasty, and Tenko. She also received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in Sister Kate.

Beacham is undoubtedly a strong woman because she dealt with being partially deaf since she was a toddler, and she beat skin cancer twice already. Her future looks bright because she's working on two new films called Stop and Smell the Roses and Rap Grandma.

 

Anthony Hopkins - 83, Port Talbot

Anthony Hopkins developed his acting skills when he went to the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He then started with theatre roles, but it didn't take too long before he began to land lead parts in films.

He had a breakthrough performance in The Lion in Winter, and then he ended up winning awards for his parts in The Silence of the Lambs and The Father. Hopkins' passion for acting is still strong today, and he reportedly has an upcoming film titled Zero Contact.

Barbara Knox - 87, Oldham

Barbara Knox worked regular jobs before she entered the acting scene in the '60s. She bid farewell to financial woes forever once she landed her role as Rita Tanner on Coronation Street. After several decades on the series, she's still part of the current cast as of 2021.

Knox may not have many credits on her acting portfolio, but it looks like her run with Coronation Street was enough for her to remain famous and busy all these years. During the Birthday Honours in 2010, she became a Member of the Order of the British Empire.

Charles Dance - 74, Redditch

You might've first noticed actor Charles Dance when he appeared in films like The Golden Child and The Jewel in the Crown. He remained busy all these years, and most people recognize him for starring in the hit series, Game of Thrones.

He always gives his maximum effort in whatever role he takes on, which is probably why directors and producers love him. Dance isn't thinking about retirement yet, and he most recently appeared in The Crown. Sources say he has two new shows called The Sandman and The Serpent Queen.

Charles Shaughnessy - 66, London

Charles Shaughnessy's hairstyle might've changed drastically over the years, but he's still the same entertaining guy he has always been. He's well-recognized for his performances in shows like The Nanny and Days of Our Lives. He would still be well-off if he didn't pursue acting because he studied law at Magdalene College.

Many expected him to enter show business because his mother, Jean Lodge, was an actress, while his father, the late Alfred Shaughnessy, was a TV writer. Charles' next lead role will be in a new movie called The Magic.

Christina Pickles - 86, Halifax

Christina Pickles instantly won people over with her performance in the show called St. Elsewhere. She got nominated at the Primetime Emmy Awards five times for it, and then she later got cast as a recurring character on Friends.

Before her TV career took off, she was active on Broadway. Pickles appeared in plays like Sherlock Holmes and The Misanthrope. Today, she rocks her white hair, and she still effortlessly does justice to her roles. She appeared in the Friends reunion special in 2021, and her IMDb page says she's part of the upcoming Finding Hannah movie.

Derek Jacobi - 82, Leytonstone

Derek Jacobi is an established name in the UK's theatre scene because he was a founding member of the prestigious Royal National Theatre. His best stage performances were in Much Ado About Nothing and Breaking the Code, and then he ultimately became a mainstream actor.

He had notable roles in I, Claudius, Doctor Who, and The Crown. Jacobi is now 82 years old, but he still has many plans with his career. He reportedly has two upcoming movies titled Hippie Hippie Shake and A Bird Flew In. You can also catch him in a new documentary called Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age.

Eileen Derbyshire - 89, Urmston

Eileen Derbyshire was among the cast members of Coronation Street that stayed in the soap opera for decades. She gave life to the role of Emily Bishop for more than five decades, with her final appearance happening in 2019. The show was one out of the two acting projects she had in her life.

After earning a teaching degree, Derbyshire initially worked as a drama and speech teacher. She also spent some time as an assistant stage manager for Chorlton Repertory Theatre. The year 2021 has been a tough one for her because her husband, Thomas W. Holt, passed away.

Glenda Jackson - 85, Birkenhead

Glenda Jackson isn't an ordinary actress because she was named the Best Actress at the Academy Awards twice already. Her award-winning performances were in films like Women in Love and A Touch of Class. She also took home a Primetime Emmy for Elizabeth R and a Tony for Three Tall Women.

Jackson took a break from acting in the '90s because she entered politics. She was a Member of Parliament for Hampstead and Kilburn and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport. In 2015, she made an acting comeback, and she will reportedly appear in The Great Escaper.

Jeremy Irons – 72, Cowes

Jeremy Irons' acting journey started in theatre, receiving praise for his Real Thing and The Winter's Tale performances. His focus shifted to film roles by the '80s, and he gave outstanding performances in The French Lieutenant's Woman and Reversal of Fortune.

He takes pride in being one of the actors who successfully achieved a Triple Crown of Acting. Irons will appear in the upcoming film called House of Gucci. Outside of acting, he's a patron of The Associated Studios and Chiltern Shakespeare Company and the Bath Spa University's first-ever Chancellor.

Jessica Benton – 72, Hampstead

Jessica Benton might look unrecognizable to some of you today because she sports a shorter haircut and has evident wrinkles. All these changes came with aging, but it's nice to see that she stayed natural and didn't find the need for cosmetic surgery.

Her rise to fame happened in the '70s when she started starring in The Onedin Line. After the series ended, Benton withdrew from the spotlight and focused on spending time with her family. She's married to former actor and photographer Charlie Waite, and they have a child together.

Jim Broadbent – 72, Holton cum Beckering

It wasn't hard to become a fan of Jim Broadbent because of how excellent he is in every performance he gives, and his first attention-worthy role was in the 2001 film called Iris. He later won a Golden Globe and BAFTA for his 2006 movie, Longford.

We doubt he will end his career anytime soon, and you can expect to see him in upcoming films like The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry and A Boy Called Christmas. Broadbent also writes books, releasing a graphic novel titled Dull Margaret in 2018.

Julie Walters – 71, Edgbaston

Julia Walters might have real-life vampire DNA because of how well she aged over the years. She first gained popularity for appearing in Educating Rita, Personal Services, and the Harry Potter films. She sports a shorter haircut today, which many of you saw on Mamma Mia!.

Walters always had a great attitude while working, and it looks like she still gets to land new parts left and right today. Her last role was in 2020s The Secret Garden, and while she has no upcoming films or shows yet, you can hear her as the narrator of Britain's Busiest Airport: Heathrow.

June Brown – 94, Suffolk

June Brown appeared in several big and small screen projects in her career, but most of you would remember her performance in EastEnders. In the series, her outstanding portrayal of Dot Cotton won her the Inside Soap Award for Best Actress in 2001.

She stayed on the show for as long as she could, but it looks like she decided to exit for good in 2020. Brown is already 94 years old, so we understand if she wants to spend more time at home these days. She was married to Robert Arnold up until his death in 2003 due to Lewy-body dementia.

Kevin Mcnally - 65, Bristol

Kevin McNally's professional acting career began at the young age of 16, and then he later became a scholar of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He didn't take his scholarship for granted, and he was even the recipient of the Best Actor Bancroft Gold Medal in 1975.

He experienced the most success when he starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and he's among the three actors who were part of all the installments in the franchise. McNally still wants to achieve new heights, so watch out for him in forthcoming films like Painted Beauty and Decrypted.

Leonard Whiting - 71, London

Leonard Whiting loved singing while growing up, and his voice was among the reasons he was discovered in the acting industry. The most prominent performance he had in his career was in the Romeo and Juliet movie of Franco Zeffirelli in 1968.

It was his first film, and it won him the New Star of the Year award at the Golden Globe Awards. Whiting did some early retirement planning because he stepped away from doing movies in the late '70s. He laid low for decades, but he made a minor comeback in the 2015 film titled Social Suicide.

Liam Neeson - 69, Ballymena

Actor Liam Neeson is originally from Northern Ireland, and he made a significant impact in the acting scene in the United Kingdom and the United States. Like many stars, he started as a stage actor, and then he eventually transitioned to film roles.

His best performances were in movies like Schindler's List, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, and Batman Begins. Neeson's career hasn't stopped bringing him multi-million dollar paychecks, and we bet he will continue to grow his wealth in the coming years. In 2021, he will star in a new film called Blacklight.

Malcolm McDowell - 78, Horsforth

When you put Malcolm McDowell in a villainous role, you can always expect him to give a heart-raising performance. He's also an accomplished voice actor, working on video games like Call of Duty: Black Ops III and The Elder Scrolls Online.

McDowell is 78 years old today, and there hasn't been any reason for him to slow down in his acting career. His most recent film was Blood on the Crown, and his IMDb page states that he's part of upcoming movies like The Walk and She Will.

Michael Caine - 88, London

Many of you are already aware of who Michael Caine is because of his numerous box-office hits. He first rose to stardom with roles in The Ipcress File and Zulu, and then he solidified his A-list status with award-winning performances in Hannah and Her Sisters and The Cider House Rules.

The younger audience would mostly know him today for starring in The Dark Knight trilogy and Kingsman: The Secret Service. Caine will have a lasting legacy in the industry, and we're sure many are excited to see him in new films like Medieval and The Great Escaper.

Miranda Richardson - 63, Southport

Miranda Richardson first appeared on the big screen in 1985's Dance with a Stranger, and then she later had breakthrough performances in Tom & Viv and Damage. Before her mainstream stardom, she was acting in plays on the West End.

Now that Richardson is 63 years old, we bet she feels proud of her achievements, but it seems like she still wants to welcome more earnings for as long as she can. According to her IMDb page, she has voice roles in a new series called The House and a film titled The Magician's Elephant.

Pam St Clement - 79, Harrow on the Hill

In the late '80s, people fell in love with actress Pam St Clement because of her entertaining performance as Pat Butcher in EastEnders. Acting wasn't her main goal when she was younger because she wanted to pursue a career as a vet.

Sadly, she didn't pass Latin when she was studying, so she decided to pursue teaching. St Clement ultimately discovered that becoming an actress is what would fulfill her in the long run. Her last role was on several episodes of Casualty in 2017, but in 2020, she got featured on This Morning.

Patrick Stewart - 81, Mirfield

There are many bald stars in Hollywood, but Patrick Stewart is indeed among the most famous ones. He acted with the Royal Shakespeare Company at the beginning of his acting career, and then he moved to movies and TV shows by the '80s.

He's well-known for his roles in the X-Men and Star Trek franchises. Stewart's last X-Men appearance was in 2017's Logan, but you can still expect him to return as Jean-Luc Picard in upcoming seasons of the Star Trek: Picard series, in which he also serves as an executive producer.

Peter Dean - 82, Hoxton

Actress Prunella Scales encouraged Peter Dean to take acting classes when she saw him acting Shakespeare at the Petticoat Lane Market, so he decided to pursue it and was trained by Joan Littlewood. His big break happened in 1978 when he starred in the series Law and Order.

Many were impressed by his talent, which landed memorable roles in EastEnders and Coronation Street. Dean isn't part of the soap operas anymore, but his IMDb page says he will appear in an upcoming film called Freedom Dance.

Robert Carlyle – 60, Glasgow

Robert Carlyle dropped out of school when he was only 16 years old and worked as a decorator and painter for his father. He eventually went back to studying at Glasgow's Cardonald College, and he ultimately grew a passion for acting when he reached his 20s.

His hard work paid off by the late '90s because he took home a BAFTA for his performance in the movie called The Full Monty. In more recent times, you might recognize Carlyle for starring in Once Upon a Time. Since 2020, he has appeared in Cobra.

 

Sally Ann Howes – 91, London

Sally Ann Howes is the daughter of Bobby Howes and Patricia Malone. Having parents who were celebrities meant she lived a lavish life growing up, but she always preferred to stay away from the limelight. It didn't take too long before she wanted to get into show business, and her career lasted for more than 60 years.

She had a memorable performance in the 1968 film Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and she received a Tony Award nomination for Brigadoon. Howes stopped acting by the mid-'90s, but she still makes occasional public appearances like in the upcoming Broadway: Beyond the Golden Age documentary. 

Sarah Lancashire – 56, Oldham

After finishing her education at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Sarah Lancashire became a busy theatre actress. She later gave mainstream work a try, but making a name for herself took time. Her breakthrough only came in the '90s when she joined the cast of series like Coronation Street and Where the Heart Is.

She was once among the highest-paid stars in the United Kingdom because of her golden handcuffs contract with ITV. Lancashire most recently starred in a movie titled Everybody's Talking About Jamie, and sources say she has an upcoming series called Julia.

Sean Bean - 62, Sheffield

Throughout his career, his most notable performances were in Game of Thrones, Accused, and the Lord of the Rings. Bean appeared in a new series titled Time in 2021, and he reportedly has a voice role in the upcoming Watch the Skies movie.

Alfred Molina - 68, Paddington

Alfred Molina first had a taste of fame when he starred in Oklahoma! at the West End in 1980. He then appeared in Broadway productions of Red and Fiddler on the Roof. In the '90s, people saw him in movies like Enchanted April and Boogie Nights.

He got a BAFTA nomination for his role in Frida and a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe nomination for Feud. Molina played Doctor Octopus in 2004's Spider-Man 2, and he has been making headlines lately because rumors say he will return as the character in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film.

Sheila Hancock – 88, Blackgang

After a successful career as a theatre actress in London, Sheila Hancock appeared on Broadway for the first time in 1966's Entertaining Mr. Sloane. Her superb debut performance earned her a nomination for the Best Lead Actress in Play award at the Tony Awards.

She also had an incredible film career, earning recognition for starring in Cabaret, Sweeney Todd, and Annie. Hancock doesn't need to focus on retirement yet, since she's still in demand. She last appeared in the Unforgotten TV series, and sources say she has an upcoming short film titled Second Skin.

Sir Ben Kingsley – 77, Snainton

Ben Kingsley spent the first 15 years of his acting career performing on stage. He had superb performances in As You Like It, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Much Ado About Nothing. His talent eventually reached a mainstream audience, and it was only a matter of time until he got awards under his name.

He won an Oscar and BAFTA for his role in Gandhi, and he received a BAFTA nomination for Schindler's List. Kingsley wasn't so lucky in the love department, for he had three divorces before marrying his current wife, Daniela Lavender. He will star in a new movie called The Way of the Wind in 2021.

 

Paul Hogan - Age 81

Paul Hogan became a legend when he was cast as Crocodile Dundee in the eponymous movie that came out in 1986. Of course, he later reprised the role several times and even married his co-star, Linda Kozlowski, whom he met on set. The two were married from 1990 to 2014.

Hogan is an Australian actor who delved into the arts in the early '70s. He initially got noticed after appearing on the New Faces talent show, where he ridiculed the judges as opposed to them ridiculing the contestants frequently. This got a positive response from the audience and the judges alike. Hogan reprised his most famous role again in 2020, in The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee.

 John Cleese – 81, Weston-super-Mare

John Cleese gained his footing in the industry from his involvement with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He lent his penmanship to "The Frost Report" while also appearing in the satirical show. His biggest breakthrough came when he teamed up with the Monty Python troupe.

The comedic outfit is behind the series of cult-favorite classics like "Life of Brian" and "The Meaning of Life." Cleese and his ex-wife Connie Booth rose to greater heights of fame when they co-wrote and starred in "Fawlty Towers." Decades later and his incredible talent is further displayed in the 2020 comedy film "The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee."

Trevor McDonald – 82, Trinidad and Tobago

Sir Trevor McDonald gained attention as an ITN news presenter. His face became well-known on British TV when he became the network's sole "News at Ten" presenter. He later joined ITV to host "Tonight with Trevor McDonald" which was revived in 2010 with Julie Etchingham serving as the presenter. He retired in 2005 but made a comeback in 2007.

McDonald eventually quit the industry in 2008 after covering the U.S. presidential election. Since then, he has appeared and presented numerous documentaries including the 2021 ITV docu "Trevor McDonald & Charlene White: Has George Floyd Changed Britain?" He also presented a special 2021 edition of "Countdown."

Kay Parker – 77, Birmingham

Kay Taylor grew up in England and moved to the U.S. at the age of 21. She studied drama and ended up joining the adult film industry. Some of her best-known works include "Taboo" and "Dracula Sucks." She quit the adult business in the '80s and got a job working for Caballero Home Video.

Taylor published an autobiography in 2001 recounting her experience working in the adult industry. She runs a YouTube channel focussing on a myriad of topics about spirituality and personal growth. Part of her services includes offering spiritual counseling sessions via Skype. The documentary "A Taboo Identity" chronicles her transition from the adult business to the metaphysical field.
